Lady Bruin Soccer Continues to Roll through Pre-Season

The Brookings-Harbor Lady Bruins varsity soccer team continues to roll on as they crushed the Marshfield Lady Pirates in their pre-season match up Wednesday afternoon.

The Lady Bruins took almost 30 minutes to score in the contest, but after the Lady Bruins hit the back of the net the first time the flood gates opened.

Speedster forward Avana Pettus tore through the Marshfield defense scoring 5 times before Anna Serna, Hanna James, Mickey Fulton, and Megan Pearson added to the 11-1 Lady Bruins win.

The defense for the Lady Bruins has been solid for most of the pre-season and Wednesday was no different as they held Marshfield scoreless until the final seconds of the match.

The Lady Bruins have no other pre-season match ups scheduled until league play begins on September 18th at home against the South Umpqua Lancers at 3:00pm.
