The Brookings-Harbor Softball League is in full swing. Six games into the season teams seem to be enjoying the newly renovated fields and facilities.
Six games into the regular season has 101 Bar and Grill sitting undefeated in first place with a 6-0 record with the West Coast Organics Green Roosters close behind with 5 wins and 1 loss.
Town & Country Animal Clinic is sitting in 3rd with 3 wins and 2 losses as Les Schwab has one win and Chetco Pawn is looking for their first victory.
The new facilities will be put to the test this weekend as Brookings will host teams from all over the state in the “All Dirt n’ No Turf Summer Banana Belt” tournament.
The tournament will feature many Men’s and Women’s teams on Saturday and Sunday and the public is encouraged to stop by Azalea Park, enjoy some good food and drinks from the new concessions stand, and enjoy some quality softball all weekend long.
