International athletes from around the world descended on the southern Oregon coast as the International Windsurfing Tour made its annual stop for the Pistol River Wave Bash at Pistol River.
At first, the weather was not very cooperative producing wet weather with slight if any winds.
But by day 4 the sun and wind showed up and the athletes wasted no time getting the action started.
Day 5 was the crown jewel of the event, warm winds and sunny skies gave the fans what they wanted to see.
Grand Masters Awards … Italy’s, Pali Gueltrini takes first, with our local fave, Dana Miller, 2nd & Scott Shoemaker took 3rd.
