Bruins Boys and Girls Take First Place Honors in the Bruin Classic

Bruin golf kept head coach Max Whitley busy Thursday afternoon, hosting the Bruin Classic, with nine teams, including Reedsport,
Rogue River, Myrtle Point, North Valley, Gold Beach (Boys), Phoenix, Illinois Valley, Hidden Valley, and Bandon (Girls) making a trip to Salmon Run on a beautiful day for a golf tournament.  

Senior Lucas Vanderlip took First place with an individual round score of 2 under 69.
Junior, Adison Hodges, finished the course with a 105.
The Bruins Owen Kolp, with the chip finished with a 100.
Madison Harris, chipping on her way to a 106 finish.
Carter Westbrook, driving to a 105.
The Bruins Isabella Tayman, driving off the fairway on her way to a 129.

Both the Bruin boys and girls teams each placed first overall with the boys finishing in 377 and the girls with a 480.
