An unsettled air mass following the last low pressure system to move through the area is forecast to bring mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures across the region as an upper level trough pushes onshore with the chance of more precipitation likely to end the weekend.

Inland areas are expected to see early morning localized areas of fog under mostly sunny skies with rain expected Sunday to end the weekend. Early morning lows are expected to be in the low to mid 30’s rising to the low 40’s as the week progresses, with highs likely reaching the upper 60’s to low 70’s.

Along the coast, clear skies are expected before another low pressure weather system begins to move onshore late Friday with strong winds gusting up to 28 mph in northern California and southern Oregon and rain likely starting late Saturday evening into Sunday. Afternoon highs are expected to be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s with early morning lows in the low 40’s.
