With a significant weather system forecast to impact the region over the next several days, the Curry County Road Department issued a press release Wednesday, March 26th, informing the public that the Curry County Road Department is preparing for the possibility of up to 5 inches of rain this week.
To help residents protect their property and homes, sand and sandbags are available for pickup outside the Road Department Gate located at 28425 Hunter Creek Rd, Gold Beach, OR.

Due to limited supplies, residents are asked to take only what they need to safeguard their property and to be advised that sand and bags are self-service, and assistance with filling bags will not be available.
