Two earthquakes struck off the coast Sunday, March 9th, both striking to the south off the coast of Eureka.
The first struck early Sunday morning, just after 5:30am, approximately 60 miles southwest of Eureka California, measuring 2.9 on the Richter Scale and 7 miles deep.
The second of the two temblors, measuring 3.2 in magnitude, struck just before 7:30pm early Sunday evening, just over 65 miles southwest off the coast of of Eureka, California.
Neither of the two tremors developed a Tsunami, or Tsunami warnings.
