On Friday, February 21st, a traffic stop was attempted by Del Norte County Sheriff’s deputies on a GMC Yukon near Humboldt and Hamilton road with several wanted persons inside.
The driver, identified as 25 year old Samantha Ray, failed to yield to Deputies and continued progressing north on Humboldt road at high speeds before ultimately stalling the vehicle near Collison at State and Elk Valley road.
Three individuals were arrested on multiple charges including 25 year old Samantha Ray was arrested and booked under various vehicle codes including reckless evading, 24 year old Caitlin Suiter, arrested and booked under a Del Norte County arrest warrant bringing narcotics into a Correctional Facility and 30 year old Christopher Swain under a Del Norte County arrest warrant for a PRCS violation.
