Cold Fronts Continue to Bring Rain Through Midweek

After Sunday’s system moved through the area, localized showers are forecast to continue into Monday morning as another cold front moves into the area Monday evening bringing showers through Tuesday and into Wednesday.

Significant chances for precipitation continue for areas inland through the Wednesday with early morning fog and snow at the highest passes as weather systems continue to move over the region. Low temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s with highs in the upper 40’s to low 50’s.

Rain, heavy at times, is forecast to continue along the coast with localized areas of fog as weather systems continue to move onshore into mid week. High Surf Warnings have been issued by the National Weather Service from the central Oregon coast to northern California coastal areas through Tuesday. Temperatures are forecast to be in the mid 40’s for morning lows with afternoon highs in the low to mid 50’s.
