Much cooler air has pushed onshore after the fast moving upper level trough passed over the area earlier in the week, prompting Freeze Warnings for Thursday morning from the National Weather Service for much of southern Oregon and northern California, and precipitation into the weekend.
Just inland from the coast, Freeze Warnings for Thursday morning with frost advisories into Friday from the National Weather Service are forecast under mostly clear skies before clouds begin to accumulate bringing rain through the weekend. High temperatures will start in the low 70’s, cooling to the mid 60’s as the work week closes with morning lows starting in the upper 30’s to the mid 40’s.
Along the coast, mostly clear to partly cloudy skies will close the the work week out with precipitation as early as late Friday or early Saturday morning and continuing through the weekend. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s with early morning lows starting in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
