Curry Health Network is reminding people that starting in April 2018, Medicare is helping keep identities secure with a new Medicare card that doesn’t include a Social Security Number.
It is important they have an accurate mailing address on file If you believe you may need to update, call 1-800-772-1213 to ensure you receive your card.
This process may take a period of many months for each person covered by Medicare to receive their new card.
It’s important to know that Medicare will not call you about your card, so beware of scams.
