Authorities Arrest 3 with Fentanyl, Meth, Digital Scales, Metal Knuckles and $8,000 in Cash

On Tuesday, July 11th, 2023, Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force and Officers with the Fortuna Police Department executed a probation searching a residence located on P Street in Fortuna after the Humboldt County Drug Task Force received information that the individual located at that address was traveling out of the area to purchase large quantities of fentanyl and then trafficking the fentanyl back to Humboldt County for the purpose of sales.

When authorities arrived at the P Street residence in Fortuna, the individual, identified as 37 year old Brian Andrew Coffman, who was currently on felony probation with a search clause for narcotics sales and had an active felony warrant for his arrest for narcotics sales, was located and detained inside the residence without incident.   

Agents began clearing the residence and located two additional subjects attempting to hide themselves inside of a bathroom. The two subjects, identified as 37 year old Bianca Welton and 36 year old Kenneth Anderson-Rose were also detained without incident.

36 year old Kenneth Anderson-Rose attempted to provide a false name to Agents, however, due multiple contacts with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force in the past, Anderson-Rose was immediately identified by agents. It was later confirmed that Anderson-Rose had a felony warrant for his arrest for narcotics sales and 37 year old Bianca Welton had two felony warrants for her arrest.

While clearing the scene, an adult female accompanied by two young children were also located inside the residence, and after further investigation it was later determined that the adult female and two young children were residing with Coffman. Child Welfare Services was contacted and advised of the living conditions for the two young children.

Once the scene was secure, Agents searched the residence and located 3 ½ ounces of fentanyl, ¼ ounce of methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging material, metal knuckles, a large cannister of pepper spray, and approximately $8,000 in US Currency. All items were collected as evidence and the US Currency was seized as asset forfeiture.

Coffman was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Jail on multiple charges including Possession of narcotics for the purpose of sales, Child endangerment,  Felon in possession of a tear gas weapon, and Possession of metal knuckles.

36 year old Kenneth Anderson-Rose was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Jail on multiple charges including Possession of narcotics for the purpose of sales, and Providing a false identity to a peace officer.

37 year old Bianca Welton was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Jail where she was booked for Possession of narcotics for the purpose of sales.
