The system responsible for high temperatures and Heat Advisories from the National Weather Service has started to weaken and move to the east, minimizing its effect through out the region.
Inland from the coast, skies are forecast to be clear and sunny, and even though the system circulating the warm air from the south is now moving to the east, temperatures will remain warm under a high pressure system into the weekend with highs in the valley reaching the low to mid 90’s through Sunday.
Along the coast, early morning fog and drizzle will be a part of the morning routine as the week progresses mainly closer to southern Oregon and northern California with localized patchy fog accumulating in some spots. The morning marine layer will give way to mostly to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon, with high temperatures reaching the upper 60’s.
