As the weekend progressed, the chance for thunderstorms mainly to the south in northern California, however, as unsettled air pushes to the north from a system circulating through southern California, the threat of thunderstorms could extend further north and to the coast through Monday.
In land areas can expect sunny skies and warm temperatures to continue with the possibility of a light afternoon wind. Temperatures will continue to reach into the low 90’s early in the week, with temperatures cooling into the mid to low 80’s by mid-week.
Coastal areas will see areas of localized patchy fog clearing before noon. A light afternoon wind is expected to accompany warm temperatures early in the week, warming from the mid 60’s to the low 70’s for highs as the work week continues.
