The U.S. National Weather Service is advising that wind and rain will return to Southern Oregon and Northern California on Thursday. Gusty winds are expected across the area, especially along the coast and across the East Side, while moderate to heavy rain will overspread the region throughout the day, bringing us much needed moisture after a dry December. Wind and rain will combine to produce potentially hazardous driving conditions, especially for high profile vehicles. While the system will be warm and snow levels should stay well above area passes, still allow extra time for travel and be prepared for difficult road conditions.
