The Brookings-Harbor School District 2022 Summer Food Program, which provides free healthy meals to children, aged 18 and younger, at no cost, will began this week on Monday, June 27th, and will continue until Thursday, July 28th.
Breakfast and lunch meals are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, at the Brookings-Harbor High School cafeteria, located at 625 Pioneer Rd, Brookings. Entry to the cafeteria area is from the student parking lot off Easy Street. Breakfast is served from 8:30am to 9:15am, and lunch is served from 11:45am to 12:30pm, Mondays through Thursdays.
Children do not need to be enrolled in the Brookings-Harbor High School District to participate or receive food and adults may eat with their children for a fee of $3 for breakfast or $4.50 for lunch payable in cash at the cafeteria.
The “Bites of Brookings” or “BOB” Bus will have four regular stops on Wednesdays this summer from June 29 to July 27 for youth to visit the bus in their neighborhood for a dine-in experience on the bus. The bus will also distribute Snack Packs provided by the Brookings Harbor Community Helpers Emergency Food Bank.
