A cluster of earthquakes shook off the Oregon coast early Wednesday morning, June 15th, with the first one occurring just before 3:00am, at 2:54am, followed by a smaller quake just over an hour later at 5:50am.
The U.S. Geological Society recorded a 3.8 magnitude earthquake approximately 265 miles north and west of Coos Bay miles off the coast of Coos Bay, Oregon at a depth of 6.2 miles.
The second quake, slightly north of the earlier quake, hit just before 5:00am Tuesday morning, June 15th, registering 4.0 in magnitude was recorded at a depth of just over 6 miles.
The third quake struck in the same vicinity at 4:56am, registering 5.6 magnitude and has been followed by a series of 4 smaller quakes all in the 4.0 to 4.3 magnitude range as of 7:00am Tuesday morning.
No Tsunami were generated and no Tsunami warnings or alerts have been issued.
