As much of the southwest suffers through high temperatures, northern California and southern Oregon will experience cooler temperatures than normal as low pressure circulates unstable cold air from the north.
Although temperatures will get into the mid to upper 30’s at higher elevations inland, with chances of isolated showers as the most recent system moves out of the area, temperatures will gradually rise as the work week progresses. Temperatures along the coast are not forecast to get below the low 40’s early in the week, however, skies are expected to be partly cloudy to mostly clear as the week progresses, with high temperatures in the mid 80’s inland and highs in the mid to upper 60’s along the coast.
