Early Tuesday morning, just before 2:00am, Medford Police officers were dispatched to a reported stabbing outside Rumors Lounge on N. Riverside Avenue.
First responding patrol officers found an unresponsive female victim suffering from an apparent stab wound upon arrival. The Medford Fire Department and Mercy Flights Ambulance responded to render medical aid, however, life-saving efforts were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Medford Police Department Detectives and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are actively investigating the case at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact Medford Police Department at 541-774-2297.
