On Jan. 3rd, at approximately 2:00pm, Three Rivers Medical Center contacted the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office Monday afternoon, January 3rd, regarding a gunshot wound victim, who had arrived without notifying Law Enforcement.
The victim arrived at Three Rivers Medical Center, with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder. Medical personnel were able to remove the bullet, which was lodged in the rear of the victims shoulder.
Deputies and Detectives arrived to investigate and determined the shooting incident had occurred on Westside Road, in the Illinois Valley. Upon further investigation, it was determined the incident occurred inside of a vehicle prior to leaving a residence and suspect information was obtained.
On Tuesday, January 4th, Detectives conducted surveillance was conducted by Detectives on a property located in Kerby. The suspect, 32 year old Daisy Greenlee, was observed walking in and out of the residence, an at approximately 3:30pm, Greenlee was contacted at the residence and taken into custody.
Greenlee is currently lodged in the Josephine County Jail and no other details have been released at this time.
