A High Wind Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service along the Oregon coast with a High Wind Advisory issued along northern California coastal area for Wednesday and Thursday.
High south winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are forecast from 8:00pm Wednesday evening until 9:00am Thursday morning along south central Oregon coastal areas including Curry County and the cities of North Bend, Reedsport, Bandon, Port Orford, Gold Beach and Brookings.
Winds will initially be strongest on beaches and headlands, however, potentially damaging winds are expected all along the Oregon Coast including exposed areas of Highway 101.
