City of Brookings announces Christopher Clark New GM of Salmon Run Golf Course

The City of Brookings announced Thursday that Christopher Clark has been selected as the General Manager of Salmon Run Golf Course. Chris has come full circle as his experience in golf began at Salmon Run back in 2001. He was hired by the course to wash carts and pick up flags at night.

Looking for an opportunity to grow and advance in the industry, he moved on to Corvallis Country Club. That advancement ended up taking him into management positions outside golf in transportation, sales, and eventually on to education where he has coached and taught for the last 14 years.

Now, twenty years after his first stint at Salmon Run, he assumes the GM role with a great deal of enthusiasm and with decades of administrative and operations experience behind him.

Chris is passionate about golf, basketball, his community, and the youth on the south coast of Oregon. He is experienced at community inclusion and has worked with student learners for many years. His supportive coaching style will serve him well in leading his team to achieve their highest potential and to bring the best possible experience to our guests at Salmon Run Golf Course.
