A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck off of the coast of northern California late Saturday night.
The quake struck just over 30 miles off the coast southwest of Eureka at 11:46pm, Saturday, July 17th and was felt as far away as Redmond and Willits.
Measuring 5.1 on the Richter Scale, the quake was 19 miles deep and no tsunami, or tsunami warnings were generated.
