A ridge of high pressure has established over the west coast, however cooler air accompanying will cool temperatures going into the weekend.
Inland, temperatures that have been above average across the area will continue to cool by the end of the weekend. Lows are expected to fall from the mid 50’s to the mid 40’s as the week progresses. Highs are forecast to begin to cool from the low 90’s on Friday to the low 80’s by Sunday.
On the coast, look for few changes as the week progresses with breezy cool conditions with patchy localized fog and misty morning conditions clearing in the afternoons. Lows will continue to be in the upper 40’s, with highs reaching the mid 60’s.
