Just after 4:00pm Wednesday afternoon, multiple fire units and three ambulances were dispatched to a crash on Redwood Hwy. 199 and Hayes Hill.
Units from Rural Metro Fire, Illinois Valley Fire District and AMR-Josephine County converged on the scene to find two vehicles blocking the road, in an area of the hill that has sharp corners.
All three occupants involved were self-extricated and transported with with what appeared to be various non life-threatening injuries. A dog passenger was not injured, and was taken into the care of Josephine County Animal Control.
Traffic movement was affected through the scene as the Oregon State Police cleared the wreckage and investigated the cause.
