An expansive marine layer has developed off of the Oregon coast under a high pressure system keeping the area precipitation free for some time.
In the valley, the forecast is for mostly clear skies with low temperatures in the upper 40’s and high’s getting near 90 in some areas.
On the coast expect mostly clear skies in the afternoon, with foggy misty, overcast mornings in the mid 40’s and highs in the low 70’s in some locations. The more southern areas of the southern coast will also seen breezy conditions that elevate to windy conditions later in the weekend.
