Homecoming Noise Parade

AS MANY OF YOU MAY KNOW, THIS WEEK IS HOMECOMING WEEK AND IF YOU WERE IN DOWNTOWN BROOKINGS TODAY AROUND 2:30 THIS AFTERNOON YOU WITNESSED THE NOISE PARADE. SO IF IT SEEMS I AM YELLING AT YOU HERE, I PROBABLY AM BECAUSE THE NOISE PARADE WAS LOUD AND IF I MAY, NOISY.

AS ALL NOISE PARADES BEFORE HAVE TRADITIONALLY STARTED, THE RALLY BEGINS THE DAY, AND THEN VICE PRINCIPLE ALEX MERRITT SPENDS THE NEXT FEW MOMENTS HERDING CATS TO THEIR PROSPECTIVE FLOATS.

THE PARADE IS THEN LEAD BY HARBOR FIRE ASST. FIRE CHIEF TOM KERR DOWN CHETCO AVENUE WITH LIGHTS AND SIRENS.

IT IS THEN TRADITIONALLY FOLLOWED BY THE SENIORS.

OF COURSE THE NEXT WOULD BE THE JUNIORS.

THE SOPHOMORES DEDICATED THEIR WINNING FLOAT TO DYLAN SPEIR.

AND THEN THE FRESHMAN…ALWAYS LOUD.

THEY SHOWED UP LOUD AND PROUD…SO IF YOU’RE NOT AT THE GAME YET, GET THERE AND BE LOUD!
