The low pressure system that brought the last round of precipitation through the area has quickly moved to the east and behind it colder air will move in as we approach the weekend.
Temperatures are expected to fall the next two nights with the coldest, near-freezing weather in the inland valleys, Saturday morning. Freezing conditions may be more localized, while areas and even widespread frost is being anticipated at the moment.
Cloud cover is possible Friday night in some areas however, rain is not forecast throughout the weekend. Inland temperatures could get as low as freezing in isolated valley areas and reaching as high as high as 70.
Southern coastal areas will be breezy with gusts reaching over 30 mph on Friday night, moving north wind conditions subside and low temperatures are forecast to be in the mid 40’s with highs reaching the mid 60’s.
