It took 22 minutes in the first half for the Lady Bruins to start the scoring. A cross play from the edge of the box from #17 Anna Serna to #10 Avana Pettus would produce the first goal of the game, taking the Lady Bruins into the half with a 1-0 lead.

The Lady Bruins would get their wake up call approximately six minutes into the second half after the Lady Cavaliers work their way inside the middle defenders and create their own break away that would result in a high outside shot that would rebound off the crossbar just inside the goal line evening the score.

With strong defense from senior middle defenders Captain Emma Leonard #13 and Kayla Watson #19, the Lady Cavaliers would pose no threat in the second half of play as Abby Farmer would offensively take over the game.

Senior Captain Abby Farmer would have a 3 goal hat trick in the second half with one of her goals being an impressive 30 yards out from the corner of the penalty box. Avana Pettus #10 would round off the second half scoring with a goal of her own, making the final score 5-1.

The Lady Bruins will finish the regular season at 5:00 PM Thursday afternoon when they travel to Marshfield. Finishing in second place in the FWL puts the Lady Bruins into a Play-in situation that they will tentatively host on Saturday, October 28th, against a yet to be determined opponent.
