CalTrans is reminding motorist that significant delays at Last Chance Grade south of Crescent City on Hwy. 101 will resume beginning Monday, March 8th.
Slide removal and prevention work continues at Last Chance Grade, and CalTrans is advising that travelers this week should anticipate the weekday schedule of 2-hour delays between 9:00am and 6:00pm and 30-minute delays outside of that time frame to resume Monday morning.
CalTrans will continue to utilize 24-7 spotters to make sure the traveling public is allowed safe passage as crews continue to progress. This schedule is subject to change with slide and other conditions.
