Before 6:00am Sunday morning, February 7th, a violent, fiery crash was reported to 911 on Redwood Hwy. 199 near Wonder. Rural Metro Fire first responders arrived to find the vehicle fully involved and crash debris was found scattered along the highway, indicating it had rolled.
According to a witness, the occupants self-extricated and fled the scene on foot. They were not located, but presumed to be injured based on force of the crash. The hospital was alerted of the potential for walk-in patients.
The incident is under investigation by the Oregon State Police.
