Just after 5:00 pm early Wednesday evening December 3rd, the Illinois Valley Fire District, American Medical Response, and the Oregon State Police as well as other emergency agencies were dispatched to a traffic accident involving a semi-truck and trailer, and a passenger car.
Preliminary reports indicate that the passenger car crashed into the trailer, pushing the front portion of the vehicle under the trailer.
The incident closed traffic on Caves Hwy. for approximately 45 minutes before the vehicles were removed from the roadway and traffic re-opened.
No injuries were reported and the incident in under investigation by the Oregon State Police.
