Just before 4:00pm, Wednesday November 4th, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of an assault with a firearm in the area of Rogue River, Oregon.
The scene was secured by authorities overnight and the processing and search of the scene continued today. Investigators continue to look for a suspect in the case identified as 35 year old Joshua Robert Miller, of Rogue River.
The suspect is described as having sandy blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’10” and weighing approximately 185 pounds and is considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
The Major Assault Death Investigation Unit was activated and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is working on the case with Oregon State Police, Jackson County District Attorney’s Office, Medford PD and Central Point PD. Additionally, Jackson County Search and Rescue also assisted at the scene.
The suspect is described as having sandy blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’10” and weighing approximately 185 pounds and is considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
It is believed that he may be on foot or operating a Polaris side-by-side ATV in the East Evans Creek area, and if you see him or know his location contact 911.
Additional details regarding the case are not being released at this time as the investigation is active.
