According to an October 1st press release from the Humboldt County Drug Task Force, special agents with the assistance from the Eureka Police Department served a search warrant on a property in Eureka. Through their multi-week investigation, agents learned that several subjects had been trafficking in heroin sales at the location.
Agents detained two residents in the main structure on the property and two additional residents were detained inside a motor home on the property. Agents also detained two customers who arrived during the service of the search warrant.
During a search of the main structure agents located a loaded Glock 9mm semi-automatic handgun and a digital scale in a bedroom. The female resident of that room, 35 year old Liesel Norman, was also found to be in possession of heroin and methamphetamine on her person.
Liesel Norman was subsequently placed under arrest and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of Possession of controlled substances while armed and Operating or maintaining a drug house.
Agents then searched the motor home and located heroin, a digital scale, and drug paraphernalia.
Agents will be forwarding charges against the residents of the motor home, 41 year old Colt Baker, and 37 year old Renee Norman, 37 on the charge of Operating or maintaining a drug house.
