On Sunday afternoon, July 27th, just before 4:00pm, officers responded to E. Barnett Road regarding the stabbing of a 21 year old male.
The victim reported he was in an altercation with three other suspects, when he was stabbed, and the vehicle he was driving was taken by the suspects.
An officer spotted the alleged stolen vehicle turning into the Motel 6 parking lot. Officers attempted contact with the occupants, and two of the suspects fled and were detained after a short foot pursuit.
All suspects are in custody after the third suspect was detained inside one of the motel rooms.
The incident is believed to have occurred in a parking lot near Sourthern Oregon Orthopodics and was witnessed by others.
After the assault, the victim walked to the nearby Starbucks to seek help. The victim is being treated and is in stable condition.
