On Saturday, May 30th, the US Bank inside the Albertsons on Ross Lane was robbed just before 11:00am.
The suspect, described as a 50ish, White male, 230lbs, had a green bag, a black hat with Ford emblem, blue jeans, and a grey sweater left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled the area in a maroon mid-2000 Dodge Dakota single cab.
Just before 5:00pm the Medford Police were advised that a vehicle in the north Walmart parking lot. After comparing the photo to the surveillance photos it was determined that in fact it was the vehicle involved.
Officers quickly arrived on the scene and saw the suspect get back into the vehicle, matching the description. He was taken into custody without incident.
Detectives learned that the suspect, 37 year old John Peter Bosco, came into town from New York, robbed the bank and then left the area. He came back to Medford briefly, and was planning on leaving again.
