The suspect of the burglary to the Local Boys Surf & Skate shop at 503 L Street was taken into custody on Pacific Avenue after being spotted by a member of the Del Norte County Probation Department who witnessed him breaking into a vehicle.
Upon arrival, Crescent City Police Department Officers located the subject, 24 year old Eric Carrizales, and were engaged in a short foot pursuit that was concluded with the teamwork of responding Deputies of the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office.
The initial burglary is still under investigation and the case will be forwarded this week to the Del Norte County District Attorney for review.
