Rural Metro Fire, Grants Pass Department of Public Safety and American Medical Response-Josephine County responded to a single vehicle crash in the 5000 block of Hugo Road.
An Engine from Grants Pass arrived on scene and found the vehicle off the roadway and into trees, having sheered-off a power pole.
The driver escaped with 3rd degree burns after the vehicle burst into flames and was transported Code 3 to Asante Three Rivers Hospital.
Powerlines were damaged, and power was out in the local area. The cause of the crash is being investigated by Josephine County Sheriff’s Office.
