Wanted Fugitive Eludes Authorities after Stand-Off

Just before noon Wednesday, February 5th, a Josephine County Deputy observed a man wanted on multiple charges outside a residence on Sun Glo Drive in Grants Pass.

It was believed that after the suspect saw the Deputy, he then hid himself in the residence.

33 year old Marshall Brodie Elliot

The suspect, identified as 33 year old Marshall BRodie Elliot, is wanted on charges of Robbery I, Assault II, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Burglary I, Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Criminal Mischief II regarding an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office.

Based on the nature of the charges Elliot is wanted for, the Sheriff’s Office requested assistance for the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety. Officers immediately responded to the scene and a search warrant of the residence was obtained by the Sheriff’s Office. The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety SWAT team responded at the Sheriff’s request.

At about 5:45pm, it was determined that Marshall Elliott had fled out of the residence prior to law enforcement securing the perimeter.
