According to the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office, two Del Norte County Unified School District employees, special education instructional assistant, and a second-grade teacher at Pine Grove Elementary School, were arrested Friday afternoon regarding alleged continuous sexual abuse of a child.
A 48 year old male is also facing similar charges and is yet to be apprehended.
According to information from the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office, 43 year old Katlin Nole, a DNUSD special education instructional assistant, and 60 year old Kathleen Mary Fuson, a second-grade teacher at Pine Grove Elementary School, were placed in custody by Officers on school grounds just after the completion of the school day Friday afternoon January 17th.
Both women are facing multiple charges including sexual intercourse or sodomy with a child 10 years old or younger, continuous sexual abuse and aggravated sexual assault of a child.
The alleged crimes are not school related and allegedly took place in Humboldt and Del Norte counties between Jan. 1 2011 and Dec. 31, 2017.
