Upper-level energy just off the West Coast is expected to bring an axis of moisture propelled by a strong low-level wind will move into Northern California through Sunday morning when the wind will weaken.
The system is forecast to produce heavy rain over parts of southern Oregon and northern California with heavy snow at the highest elevations also through Sunday morning. The rain and snow is expected to dissipate on Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening.
