Early on the morning of Thursday, July 11, just after 3:30am, the Illinois Valley Fire District and Oregon Department of Forestry were dispatched to a grass fire in the Holland Loop area.
Upon arrival at the fire location, it was discovered to be a vehicle fire with the car very near the house and under a large tree. The fire was quickly extinguished by Illinois Valley Fire District.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by Illinois Valley Fire District Fire Marshal and Josephine County Sheriff.
