Just after 4:00 pm Sunday afternoon, the Rural Metro fire was dispatched to a structure fire on Norman Rd. in Selma. The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety was also called to assist with mutual aid partner Illinois Valley Fire District.
Warmer temperatures and the afternoon winds made fighting the fire more difficult so additional personnel was requested.
Details were not available and the cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
