A Pacific system moves onshore later today and brings scattered areas of mountain snow and lower-elevation rain through Sunday morning. Another system will be on its heels and enter on Sunday night with more rain and mountain snow.

There is a chance for thunderstorms across Southwest Curry County, Del Norte, Humboldt and Trinity counties as an upper-level low moves across the area. The best chance for storms is Saturday morning along the coast, then inland later in the day.
