Friday afternoon just before 1:00pm, the Grants Pass Police received an emergency 911 call from a female resident of the Riverside Apartments. The 63 year old female caller reported she had been sexually assaulted by a male subject who had unlawfully entered her apartment.
The Grants Pass Detectives responded to assist with, and continue the investigation and their arrival the 63 year old woman was transported to Rogue Regional Medical Center.
A suspect was identified as 25 year old Dillon Bryce Ritchason. Through assistance from the Pacific Northwest Offender Task Force and an analyst with the Medford Police Department, information was obtained for a potential location of Ritchason. He was detained without incident and was later lodged on charges of Burglary I, Rape I, and Sodomy I.
