Lady Bruin head coach Kyla Sira said of Schofield’s MVP selection…”Lexi sees the field very well and we had to play more defensive this year with games being closer than they were last season. She could make runs up the field when she decided to and was always a vocal piece for our team which I believe is a quality that MVP players should have. Our defense was fun to watch this year and she still has another year ahead of her to be that leader.”

“Faith scored 5 goals on the season and was a huge scorer out early for us. She had huge shoes to fill for us and she filled those well.” Coach Siri said. “It was her and our other midfield players that controlled games for us and that’s a lot to put on such a young player and she handled it well!

“I have coached Cecilia for three years, and the improvement this girl has made makes her a player to watch out for on the pitch. She plays relaxed confident and is a fun player to watch. When the opposing teams would kick a ball Lexi and Cecilia were always right in front of it like a magnet to the ball. She definitely was key piece to our success.” said Coach Siri.
