A series of earthquakes, followed by a massive 7.0 magnitude struck the Anchorage Alaska area at approximately 8:30am this morning. Other smaller quakes have also occurred within the area.
There is NO TSUNAMI ALERT at this time.
Reports are coming in of widespread damage to structures and roadways. A Tsunami warning was issued initially for shores in the Alaska area, and have since been lifted. Again, there is NO TSUNAMI ALERT at this time.
