Multiple agencies, including the Josephine Marijuana Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant Thursday, April 28th, at a location on Azalea Drive just north of Grants Pass, regarding an illegal outdoor marijuana growing operation.
During the execution of the warrant, approximately 7600 marijuana plants were located in greenhouses on the property. The marijuana plants were seized and destroyed. Additionally, multiple firearms and equipment used for the unlawful manufacturing of marijuana were seized.
64 year old Paula Powell, was arrested and lodged in the Josephine County Jail for Unlawful Manufacture of Marijuana.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
