A 4.5 magnitude earthquake shook the northern California coast Tuesday afternoon, March 21st, just south of Ferndale.
The U.S. Geological Society recorded a 4.5 magnitude earthquake 20 miles southwest of Eureka, California, just after 4:15pm Tuesday afternoon, at a depth just over 7 miles.
No Tsunami warnings were issued.
