The ridge if high pressure responsible for the recent mild weather pattern continues to weaken and with that usher in a wetter, cooler change in the weather pattern.
Sunny skies early in the week with warm afternoon temperatures are forecast inland as a series of weak fronts will move into the coast Tuesday and Wednesday and bring in chances for light rain to the coast, and coastal valleys.
Temperatures are expected to fall considerably in southern Oregon and northern California after the first weak front passes through Wednesday and a new system moves into the area from the north.
